Stew
Hmmmmmm, if you could wait a couple of months mine could be used for the cause!
Beavis
So what do we exactly gain if we get the extra 12% throttle opening? Is this any way related to the maximum speed of 155 mph?
Guest prescience
So what do we exactly gain if we get the extra 12% throttle opening? Is this any way related to the maximum speed of 155 mph? It's a plate turned into /out of the airflow so its a cross-sectional area issue, so for sure it's not linear - I'd say the maths is quite hard but 12% deviation from horizontal (ie no obstruction) is probably an order of magnitude less in actual effect 1.2%. Guesswork really and if you want to calculate the effective cross-area of an elliptical disk as a function of angle, feel free

Adam@Z1auto.com
the top speed limiter is another part of the ecu, not related to the throttle plate, but also something that can be changed
