prometheus
Just would like to know if any of you guys with the Motordyne Plenum spacer fit the coolant control valve or not? Says it's optional in the instructions and talks about if the temp is above 55 degrees that it should be closed for max performance benefits. Chris`I
No need mate. Cant remember why, but the instructions give you details on when and when not to use it. Over here we dont need it IIRC as stock it heats the TB/plenum area to stop freezing, but has the converse effect of heating the air in the plenum sligtly which you dont really want in hot climates. This valve lets you turn off the flow of coolant (which actually heats it!) if you are in hot climates and back on when it gets cold. Over here its not overly hot for long so no need for it.
