Ian Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Depends on age. Mine went up £50 for an exhaust, plenum & induction kit when I was with Bell Quote
RobD7 Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 I've been told mine will go up about £80 with Adrian Flux although they do insure like for like which many don't do... Quote

oliie Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 I'm with Greenlight insurance and they don't charge extra for mods such as exhaust or air intake etc (they are a broker for Highway Insurance). Cheers O. Quote
TT Convert Posted June 28, 2008 Author Posted June 28, 2008 10 oclock last night was a biy late to phone them up! Quote
Toon Chris Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 I`m brokered through Adrian Flux and asked them to choose a company that didn't charge for mods Also, remember that the exhaust won't increase power and is cosmetic only. This shoudl keep the extra charge down if they insist on charging you (in theory). Quote
martinmac Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 No change for exhaust and pop charger, stress to them that it doesnt increase BHP. Quote

Whilst that is true, I'd be inclined not to make an issue of it because no doubt they'd be able to find some manufactrer's claims down the line about it increasing the power - never give them wriggle room where you can avoid it Quote
Ekona Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Just say you've never had it on a dyno so you don't know if it improves or not Quote
