Ian
Depends on age. Mine went up £50 for an exhaust, plenum & induction kit when I was with Bell

oliie
I'm with Greenlight insurance and they don't charge extra for mods such as exhaust or air intake etc (they are a broker for Highway Insurance). Cheers O.

Toon Chris
I`m brokered through Adrian Flux and asked them to choose a company that didn't charge for mods Also, remember that the exhaust won't increase power and is cosmetic only. This shoudl keep the extra charge down if they insist on charging you (in theory).
martinmac
No change for exhaust and pop charger, stress to them that it doesnt increase BHP.
Guest prescience
No change for exhaust and pop charger, stress to them that it doesnt increase BHP. Whilst that is true, I'd be inclined not to make an issue of it because no doubt they'd be able to find some manufactrer's claims down the line about it increasing the power - never give them wriggle room where you can avoid it
Ekona
Just say you've never had it on a dyno so you don't know if it improves or not
