martinmac
Welcome, what about a nice stubby aerial that everyone here is so obsessed with I already have one. I got it even before I picked up the car. Thats how desperate I was to start buying stuff for my new Z. The Aluminium Tax disc holder is a must too for any hardcore tuner. I dropped 2 grams in weight from the stock tax disc holder and could feel the extra throttle response instantly. Weight reduction is the key to fast cars. My next mod to make the car lighter, will be to attach some childrens ballons full of helium to my wing mirrors. In fact, I think the best way to lighten your Z for the track is just not have a driver in it. If you dont get in, then your 75-90 kg saving could give your car the extra edge in a race. Unfortunately, the telekinesis skills to change gear AND steer at the same time, are beyond me. I'll just have to keep practising! Explains a lot, will see how Sarnie an mine research project turns out. must resist

kingbiscuit
Met this guy (Rich) today... he's as crazy as he seems (only jokin!) I'm not the one who crashed his beloved Zed through a building, because you couldnt figure out your tiptronic! I think you should remove the carbon fibre front lip from your sig, as it's probably still stuck in the brickwork, lol
IanS16
Haha ok.. you definitely win! Oh, and I DO have a carbon fibre front lip, got it yesterday along with my carbon fibre air duct!

kingbiscuit
Oh, and did you notice i added splash guards I think they call them cannards or spats or something (dont quote me) Would be nice to know what make they are. Don't know, they may even be a Nissan mod. Not too keen on the Nismo ones, they look a bit 'stuck on' and angular Yours were good though. I'm gonnna buy a carbon fibre steering wheel and front windscreen
IanS16
Carbon fibre front windscreen? should save a little on the weight! no but seriously.. why do you need a windscreen??
kingbiscuit
no but seriously.. why do you need a windscreen?? Exactly! I'm gonna remove the screen and buy some goggles instead. Or maybe clingfilm would work. Why are Zeds so damn heavy?
