Rob_Quads
I was wondering what peoples thoughts on debadging are? I talking from looks point of view not "because its a nissan" Been searching for a good pic of a Black Nismo 350z to shop the front bumper but haven't been able to find one. martinmac
I have just the black Z badge on the front of my Kuro and nothing on the back. Not really anything to do with the Nissan thing, I just prefer the look.
Jay
I would keep the badge mate but just change it to the Z badge get a nice shiney chrome
Ian
I've got my front debadged & just a nissan badge on the rear for now

Rob_Quads
Hmm quite like the clean front end. Any chance of a more front end view of that one?

Stew
Ok it's azure but it gives you an idea.
Rob_Quads
Looks really good there - helps that your wheels are awesome
Stew
It's also aerosync bumper so slightly 'smoother' than Nismo. I have pics of it on the rays and I still think it looks good to be honest.
nixy
I actually like it both ways - it looks really good with or without and most people don't know what the hell it is anyway when you drive past, nissan badge or not. The fairlady badge on the back confuses them even more - I've had people in cars behind me, peering up close to see what it says. I was going to take it off but I'm kind of attached to it now. So, if you take it off it will look great like the pics above but if you leave it , it will still look fab!
ab350z
Are the badges pinned in or just sticky stuff? Looks like a little indent on the front bumper one at least, guessing that would need filled over and sprayed. I've been toying with the debadge idea aswell. Stew
Only indent. Rear badges have two holes. I have a tommy kaira badge on the back. People have no idea what it is (unless they know..... if that makes sense!)

rtbiscuit
Have resurrected another old thread. at least you all know i'm using the search function i am planning on debadging a bumper. i know there used to be a blanking plate you could buy, but for the life of me i can't find it anywhere. i believe ti was made by finalflag, but i can't find it at envy, anf the only link i have to final flag takes me to a jap page and i don't read japanese. so my question is A. does anyone know where from and how much a blanking plate for the front bumper is? B. if no blanking plate is used, whats the best method of filling the space. my plan was to layer up fiberglass into the space and then sand it all down. as hopefully its a fibreglass bumper (if i get it). have tried filling spaces on flexible bumpers with filler and p60/45 (the red stuff with fibre in it) but because it was aflexible section it cracked around the hole and made the work visible, so i had to hide it with a heat shield on my last car. any guidance would be appreciated
Ian
The bodyshop that filled my bumper used carbon fibre to fill it, fibreglass will crack

kris
Been a while since the last post in this thread but... With regards to the rear badges, is it only the middle badge that is held in by pins or is the fairlady/350Z badge held in by pins aswell? Stew
~Unless it's a roadster of course in which case nothing is under the badges.
