interestedina350z
Go for your performance parts like exhausts etc? I have been trying to find sites on the internet but unsuccessful.
Guest prescience
I imported my NISMO from www.leeparts.com in the US - a very smoothe transaction and I would recommend them for that exhaust Sourcing from the UK will be more expensive in almost all if not all cases. The Nismo definitely failed the UK limit, which is why it's not offered as part of the dealer pack when you buy a new car ( it was originally intended to be available as an option along side the bodykit and wheels). I have seen the official post from Nissan explaining it all, but can't put my finger on it. I think the UK limit figure was in the 90's , so perhaps all your individual model figures are correct and perhaps you UK limit figures are not right ?? I 'll keep looking Gus
Guest prescience
Yeah the limit is definitely not 110 it is 90 I think and the stock one just scapes it. dBs are on log scale so, 110 would be ear-breaking loud - i.e. Motorhead concert type loud I think 110 is 10x as loud as 90? because Gain = 10^(dB/20) or 10^( 0.05*dB )
Removed
but yeah I think 110Db is way too loud to be the legal limit in UK
Space Cadet
Wicked - I have the Nismo exhaust and love it!!!!!!!!!!
interestedina350z
Where did you get your one from space cadet?
Space Cadet
http://www.rjnmotorsport.com I don’t want it to draw too much attention like a chavy Nova with a big-bore, just want the Z to be understated cool. The Nismo Exhaust sounds just right, even my girlfriend who is really un-car'y doesn’t mind it and it actually really suits the car and IMO how it should have sounded from new. interestedina350z
Z1 autos take about about 228 pound to ship over an exhaust for the 350Z.
Space Cadet
£1074 inc. VAT!!!, I know its a lot, but want the car to remain standard'ish with Nissan associated parts therefore hopefully be able to sell it on a bit easier, possibly part exchange it as I already have my eye on the new GTR.
