martinmac
Setting off for my normal commute this afternoon so can anyone tell me how petrol stocks are from Scotch Corner down the A1 and A14 to Cambridge. Will need to top up as its pretty well impossible around here.
Toon Chris
I can't say I noticed any problems yesterday, there are a lot of shell garages on the route but also plenty of BP when you get nearer to the A14 so if you can get to, say, Newark, you shoudl be fine. Tons of non-shell around there. Do you really have shortages in the Lakes?
martinmac
Lot of small garages that dont sell the good stuff and most of the ones that do are shell and are closed. There is a Texaco garage that has 98 ron but it would mean going 15 miles in the wrong direction to start off. Got 3/4 of a tank so as long as I dont see too many Audi TTs etc en route I should be ok. Thanks bud
Stew
Dropped my GF off the hospital this morning for her placement and went to the shell garage. All closed up! Guess it's run out of fuel. Shame as the landie is on fumes and the Zed is not being driven!
Lexx
Bourne services still had plenty late last night. Though they were asking 1.19 for it!

Including a Veyron, Enzo, and Koensigg CCX! Oh, and lost of Robin Reliants in Gulf livery!
martinmac
Look forward to the pics. Not looking forward to work, apart from me the boat is crewed by engineers
