martinmac
Sounds very strange. Whilst I am not the best one to help you it may be worth trying an ECU reset just in case one bit isnt talking to the other. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=89 Hope you get it sorted. Emperor Ming
Could be as a simple as a dodgy battery mate. worth a check before you spend big bucks. Just a thought. Ming the Considered
dcash5
Sounds to me like a power feed to the ECU. My old car had the same symptoms, Need to trace the loom and check for shorted wires!
helenstone
thanks for all suggestions the battery is fine and the electritcian is still checking the loom thanks again
matth76
Could be as a simple as a dodgy battery mate.worth a check before you spend big bucks. Just a thought. Ming the Considered I agree with above. I once had trouble with my battery. Went to halfords to get a brand new battery and the problem was still there. So I naturally thought it wasn't the battery but another problem. Turned out the brand new battery was a dud too!! Could also be your alternator which isn't carrying the charge. Try a different specialist - they should all give it a quick check over for free if they are any good. Good luck
dave1wall
possible power start to the ecu your auto electrician should be able to trace that, if the ignition lights come on and you turn you key and nothing happens then poss ecu to starter problem, let us know what the Auto Elec says
