sl114
I agree Zeddz, how on earth could a BRAND NEW CAR have such bad paintwork?
Beavis
Obviously no R&D money spent on paintwork then
sl114
Obviously no R&D money spent on paintwork then But its just wrong! You wouldnt spend that amount on a car only to find it gets scratched and chipped to hell because they couldnt be bothered to put a decent layer of paint on it! Its just acceptable with the 350z but a GT-R! No way! Sorry but i think its disgusting that the crap paint issue is still an issue with nissan! GC350z
I seem to recall Nissan had developed special paint for the GTR that could withstand stone chips.

Wrong forum GC,this should be in the jokes section. I'd dig out the info but I really cant be assed with the GTR now as imports of the car are at €125k here. Win the lottery and I'll refocus my interest. Back on topic, some of the after pics don't look much better then the before. All the marks in the clear coat are gone but the reflection is very wavey.
