With awful depreciation. And most touch surfaces are flimsy plastic crap. That goes for most manufacturers not just Nissan. But mostly for me its about not having any compelling reason to buy a new car, since covid I now mostly work from home, so I now just have a 20 year old Toyota 4x4 for daily stuff (shopping, tip runs, carting the dogs around) and the Z for a toy. Now neither make anything I would personally buy, but the French stuff is modern, unique, and stands out: the Jap stuff is bland, dull and boring. You can argue about quality if you want, but for buyers they’d rather have something interesting than generic. Nissan are a dead brand as far as I can see with what they have now and forthcoming.
