madsnapper Posted February 13 Share Posted February 13 Hi all, Well Ive had my 350Z for almost 18 years, what a car to drive ! Its a Nov 2003 registration and done 106000 miles, Im the third owner. Ive started getting a problem with the exhaust, its just getting crazy loud and if I accelerate hard, jesus, its deafening ! Fully expecting a new one was required I took it into National Tyres ( Halfords ) for them to take a look and they said it was fine , no holes, joints Ok, the front pipe ( which Ive never replaced ) was corroded but no holes, and sent me on my way. The middle and back box was changed probably 4 or 5 years ago but bearing in mind I only do 2 to 3 thousand miles a year in it, it is still fine. It passed its last MOT in November last year when the noise had started to get bad and I fully expected it to fail but it passed, Ive done 60 miles, yes 60, miles since then but the noise is getting embarrassing.
