Jinshim Posted yesterday at 09:32 Share Posted yesterday at 09:32 Hi all, As per title, been looking for some 370z headers for quite a while now, reading online the headers will fit but the flange between manifold and cat was different on DE and HR. The HR will fit the 370z. Going on this I found the ISR long tube headers for sale on Tarmac sportz for a reasonable rate compared to the likes of PPE but there's a note saying LHD only. Heres the link in question: https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/isr-performance-nissan-350z-z33-vq35de-hr-03-09-hgc-long-tube-headers.html?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA7se8BhCAARIsAKnF3ry8kei4NdoSqvDcNgRFjZ1B_8EKg9A6ymkone64omA3JZZYZ7JAAvcaAgN_EALw_wcB Does anyone have any hands on experience with whether or not these will fit please!!! Thanks
Coz@TORQEN Posted yesterday at 10:18 Share Posted yesterday at 10:18 Hello! The ISR are definitely LHD along with 99% of the headers on the market, they usually touch on the steering column knuckle, there never used to be any RHD available so most peoples fix was taking a hammer and denting this section. Luckily, we came up with a fix for this and developed our own version of RHD headers, available in both long tube format and regular. Long tube: https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/exhausts/headers-manifolds/21773-350z-torqen-headerz-stainless-steel-long-tube-headers-rhd-lhd.html Regular: https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/370z/exhausts/headers-manifolds/262331-350z-hr-z33-370z-z34-torqen-manz-manifolds-headers-rhd-lhd.html The long tube should work, considering most companies list them as compatible for 350z DE, HR and 370z, although we haven't tested them yet on a 370z. Theoretically, you're removing the cats with the long tubes so the only thing that could make them not fit would be the stud pattern. Seems to be a lot of contradicting information regarding the stud pattern as I remember seeing it was different but Z1 now list theirs as fitting all models: "These headers are built to be a direct bolt-on to the VQ35DE, however, they can be used on 07+ VQ35HR and VQ37VHR engines with the use of Stock DE Catalytic Converters" The only way to know for sure would be to try and fit them, or if you want to be safe, got for the regular setup which we made specifically for the 370z. Coz@TORQEN Posted yesterday at 10:51 Share Posted yesterday at 10:51 Pleasure! They should include all the necessary gaskets but in case they don't, I can include some for free for you No worries, both are well stocked so we can ship them as soon as the order is in.
