Jackh902
Hi guys, New here. I bought my 350Z a few months ago and wanted to join the community. I bought this car for 3.8k with just over 90k on the clock. Car a few issues but nothing I can't handle. Owning the car for just under 4 months I've noticed the below Heated seats, not sure if they even work or they take for ever to come on and when they do, it's only mild Fuel gauge is wrong (Presuming it's the fuel sender) when tank says it's half full, it's actually empty Drivers side window it's stubborn, goes down fine but won't go back up. Gotta lock the windows before it goes up. Roof only goes 90% down (I found the fix, just need to order the parts but due to being winter. Not a priority) Here are my plans fort he car in 2025 Repair the paintwork, there's some bad scuffs on it. It looks like it's had a poor respray in the past like the bonnet is a different shade of blue to the rest of the car. But I got some carbon fibre effect wrap to cover the bonnet Install some small mods such as induction kit, maybe a small body kit, exhaust system Restore the missing parts such as underpanel tray, replace the wheel arch covers, replace the brake back plates Install a more modern head unit, one with apple carplay/android auto replace/improve the interior as the panels are damaged Underseal the car professionally, the underside has little rust and had protection done before but it was only half a job it looks like If anyone can suggest any tips for the car or any businesses that could help me with my journey then that'll be amazing! I was hoping to restore the paint back to perfection. I know one or two garages in my area that could help me with the mods but any suggestions are welcome Currently this car looks like a neglected project car but i wanna be that person to restore this
The Bounty Bar Kid
For brand new uprated parts... Always @Coz@TORQEN or @Tarmac@TarmacSportz. They have websites. For OEM hand parts, go to @ZMANALEX. Fuel issue is an easy fix. Have a search on here for it. Good luck with the car and welcome 👍🏽
Keith D
Welcome and enjoy! I don't know what it is about blue paint, but to me it always looks cracking under lights at night time events. I nearly bought a 350z convertible in blue 20-odd years ago, I even got as far as putting a deposit down, but went for a blue Mitsubishi GTO import instead for a project car. So far I've got all my parts either at the local stealers or @Coz@TORQEN (who is brilliant)
