Pimm
Hi, A mate of mine has just got a Z import. How can you change the trip computer to readout in MPH and not the Km/H. Thanks
3FIDDYZ
in the centre pod? If so, yes, you can, just get a UK set of guages. If on the main dials then I belive it can be done, am sure someone will have done it.

nixy
if you mean the speedometer then it has to be done by a professional. You can change it to tell you the speed in MPH you are doing by just changing the front face but it will still clock up the distance in KM's. sl114
SHould this not have been done by the importers to pass the tests?
nixy
it has to read the speed in MPH as part of that process yes.
Ardesco
I think he means the display that shows Temp/KM per Litre/DTE/stopwatch/etc. As far as I'm aware you have to replace it to get it changed, however to give you a rough idea 8.7 KM per Litre is around 25 MPG. 3FIDDYZ
yep if its the 3 dials in the middle of the car, then yes you can just buy a UK centre pod section, plug it in and your sorted. Someone on the OC just did it.
JAP350Z
Did it last year on mine, took about 45 minutes. Only thing not working properly is the clock. OC member who did the swap said his clock worked OK.
Pure
Yep, that was me. I posted on the other forum about it :-) Clock and everything else works fine LOL. Are you sure it's not something simple on yours like just pressing the set time button to get it working?

Pure
Hiya all Can anyone tell me where I can buy a set of these centre pods?? The parts dept at your nissan dealership should stock them. Or keep an eye on ebay they do come up now and again.
Kennydies
OK, I know I have owned a Z for coming up 3 years but... When you press and hold the trip computer button it defaults to Time, is there a way to get it to default to another function?
