neo Posted Sunday at 11:36 Share Posted Sunday at 11:36 (edited) Hi all, My 370z is now over 10 years old but only done about 35k miles 😀 does the Serpentine belt seem ok as its never been replaced, had it replaced on my 350z as it was starting to crack a little, it was serviced and MOT'd back in August and they didn't mention anything 🤔 Edited Sunday at 11:37 by neo
Keith D Posted Sunday at 15:25 Share Posted Sunday at 15:25 (edited) The marks on the tensioner are ok. Personally though I would change a 10 year old belt, but then again I find doing work on cars fun and go out of my way to find things to fix, and therefore am by definition an idiot 🤣 Edited Sunday at 15:26 by Keith D
neo Posted Sunday at 15:37 Author Share Posted Sunday at 15:37 (edited) Thanks for the reply, i don't work on cars apart from cleaning them 😁 so i'll look at getting it booked in soon Edited Sunday at 15:44 by neo
ZMANALEX Posted Sunday at 20:50 Share Posted Sunday at 20:50 What Keith has said, after 10 years, time for a replacement with a quality brand of belt. The belt is not stretched, however, there may be wear and tear cracks on the inside face. Replace as a process of precautionary maintenance. Gates and OEM belts are in stock and good to go same /next day
