johnnyb50uk Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 Hi, I have an 06 350z and the convertible roof catches on the underside of the cover. The pic shows where its catching (not my car in the pic). When the roof is opening it catches slightly but gets past it, but when trying to close the roof I have to reach back and give the handle a little pull away from the cover to help it get past the lump on the underside of the cover. Otherwise it just gets stuck there. The roof isnt original (previous owner replaced it), and I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Not sure it its something to do with the cover not opening wide enough, or maybe an aftermarket roof not being exactly the same size (it fits fine, no problems otherwise). Jon. Quote
Coz@TORQEN Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 With anything aftermarket, it's hard to say. Take it back to where it was fitted and see if they can advise then proceed from there. Quote
zeditis Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 I'd check the bolts holding the cover are tight. They've come loose on my own. Then try the stops on the cover the roof is unlikely to have moved further back if it had it wouldn't close properly. Quote
