letsgotopless
2005 convertible 60k miles driven modestly all its life but suspect needs new wheel bearing/s at rear. (1) Should the bearings last longer and when miles did you have to renew? (2) autodoc choices have huge price differences but assume you gets wot u pay for? (3) Moog seems a good make but can I do better on quality/price?
ZMANALEX
There is no set mileage for bearing failure. Also, the bearings are not a serviceable item, so they get replaced when they begin to fail. Below is what I use in the shop all the time and what I sell on the forums etc. Just drop me a PM if I can help further: All in stock and good to go same/next day .
mr v6
I replaced a rear on mine 2 years ago. 104k & replaced it with a Blueprint one from work & cost me £60.
Zalas
Replaced two years ago using ones from zmanalex - had to get a shop to press the bearings on and pull the old off but they're working really well. Replacing the fronts at the moment.
