Andrew
Hi there, might be moving over to Ireland and taking the 350z over also. Does anyone know can a private uk plate move over also? If not, can you get a private plate in Ireland? Not sure the best way round this, if there is one....

350Znismo
I was looking to do the same in Norway, and the options was re register the car and pay the import duty or take it and bring it back once per year and MOT, Tax it The import duty was 40% so option 2 was the only option. Andrew
Is that legal though? I mean, how can you insure the car in UK while in Norway. And if not doing that, how can you insure in Norway while not being registered there???
350Znismo
My car is covered for European travel (including Norway) through my company. I pay tax in the UK as I only work 4 days out of the country per week and return every weekend. My car will return on a regular basis (honest) A 350Z in Norway is around £70k So I will not be buying one.
