350_Jer
I'm not getting my oil light coming on any more when the ignition is turned on. I've disconnected the 3 centre gauges as I've got aftermarket gauges in their place, would this cause the oil light not to come on or would it need a new oil pressure switch? I don't know if it stopped working when I took the gauges out as I only noticed it didn't work a while after I took then out! They seem pretty expensive so don't want to buy one if I dont need one! Stewal
I believe the standard sender unit operates both the gauge and warning light, so I suspect if you reconnect the original gauge pod the warning light would work. You would need to get a look at a wiring diagram to confirm this and see if its possible to fool the car into thinking the gauges are still there in order to get the light working. 350_Jer
Thanks, I'll try reconnecting the gauges, glad I kept hold of them now and didn't get rid of them!
