JayT
350 stalled today which I instantly assumed wasn’t a driver issue 🤣. It then stalled again on a normal flat pull off which wouldn’t happen. Didn’t start straight away and needed a pedal pump, still not starting well now at all. The EML, and traction lights are now on even after restart and letting cool off. Any ideas to what this is or what could have caused this? Garage isn’t open today weekend for diagnostics. Any help is appreciated.
ZMANALEX
Best to check if any current DTCs are showing to perhaps get a better understanding of what is going on. Also may be a plan to carry out your resets. If you struggle with the above then try disconnecting the battery for half an hour.
JayT
Thanks Alex! Don’t have the kit for that in the garage at home so will take it down to local Monday morning to find out the DTC’s. Will try disconnecting the battery now for a bit though. Cheers for the help mate, James
Stewal
As said, best get the codes read but when I had this it was a camshaft sensor. If it is, it's an easy fix, but don't buy cheap Chinese ebay copies!
steven.b
Got exactly the same problem right now, in my case it happened after a failed start so at first I thought it was the battery but replacing it didn't help.
JayT
Update: Just had her plugged in and shows error code for Bank 2. She started ok this morning and only EML on. Codes have been cleared and seeing if it does it again then will replace both if same code. Will keep this feed updated as I find out more Jay
JayT
Final Update: Code was P0345 which was a cam shaft piston sensor in Bank 2 as mentioned before. I replaced with the Tarmac Sportz Hitachi OEM Replacement sensor £75 + delivery. Fitted myself, simple job would definitely suggest people trying it themselves. Took around 20 mins. Followed this vid: First proper drive today. Touch wood…. All seems okay so far. Hopefully this helps anyone else with the issue 👍🏼.
