Thanks everyone... some good info here.  I should have clarified my objectives - i'm not trying to protect against stone chips here - i just want the car to look as good as possible, and to reduce the frequency of, and effort required when washing. Sounds like ceramic is 100% the way to go...

This won't be to everyone's tastes, but i did my first mod yesterday - a private plate.

I've had this on retention for a couple of years, but never had a car new enough to put it on.  Tbh i'm not sure I like it - I think it makes me look a bit of a bell end. 😭

I'll will run it for a couple of months and see how I feel.  My name is Chris, btw. 😐

  • 7 months later...

I've been pimping my garage this last couple of weekends.

Last weekend I fitted an electric garage door opener, and this weekend i installed a set of hexagon lights.  Was super easy, and took only around 90 mins.

I'm strongly considering painting the walls black and re-fitting most of the merch. I have a large air compressor and a spray gun, so should be relatively quick to do.  I've been planning to repaint the floor for years so i might do that in the next couple of months too.

As for the Emira, i've got a full CT Carbon splitter kit (front, sides, rear, and spoiler) on the way.  Picked it up for a 'bargain' £2700 direct from the manufacturer in a 20% xmas sale.  8 week delivery... only about 4 weeks to go!
