Ultimate wheel protection *PPF

Tried something I've not seen done before so thought I'd share a review.

Having hyper silver lip alloys, to keep them looking nice would need polishing routinely and if left unwashed would show signs of pitting. Previously had DIY wrapped the faces of the wheels which lasted 2yrs successfully, I thought PPF applied to the lips would provide the best protection while still looking great.

4 months on through the Winter and happy to report no maring, stains or lifting. Just have to be mindful to keep the edges clean during washing, same as any applied PPF. Have a single join line on each wheel which can't be avoided, however only visible when looking for it.

PPF used was SunTek Ultra which is also self healing. You can't believe just how easy it is to now clean these wheels. highly recommended

Did you place the film yourself? Can’t imagine it’s easy to wrap a wheel lip

Yeah applied myself, measured up cut the film and applied. Jacked the wheel up allowing it to rotate, back rolled the film always working between 5 and 7 o'clock. Best possible protection with even more depth and gloss due to the near perfectly smooth surface.
