Ethan
I’ve recently had my front discs swapped (they were warped) as I was getting shuddering when I was braking. It’s only been a few weeks since that and the shuddering is starting again. I’ve been braking gently so I’m not sure what’s going on with it, could it be the back ones too? Also noticed my steering wheel is slightly off centre, not sure if that’s impacting it or not.
SWoMP
Could it be a stuck piston in one of the calipers? No idea how you'd test this though...
ZMANALEX
It will be DTV caused by not following the correct fitting procedures.
Ethan
Cheers for the reply, what’s DTV?
SWoMP
Disc Thickness Variation
GranTurismoEra
All it takes a a mm or 2 variation on the hub or disc apparently. Meaning its not running true or straight Edited July 17, 2023 by GranTurismoEra
Impressed
I would think that would be allot less to cause issue. Possibly 0.1mm or less. At 2mm runout or DVT it would probably be undrivable.
