TM_Gooner98
Hi guys, I’m at a bit of a cross road! I’ve been to look at a few HR’s now and a lot of them have been sub 60k miles but needed some work done (the gallery gasket, W Brace, kidney arms and general rust treatment for example). I’m starting to think that I should just go for a higher mileage HR but get one that has had most of the work done I’ve just mentioned. What do you guys think? RickyZ
Just drive them all and get the best one in your budget... High miles usually aren't an issue if properly maintained. I would prefer a big number on the clock to a big number on the garage bill for the mentioned items personally.
formatzero
I would be more concerned about rust than mileage, bodywork is costly and some owners prefer to add lowering kits, spacers, etc etc and ignore the important bits !!
