M13KYF
Ive used the Autoglym - doesnt look like it will flick off the tyres as long as it is left for a decent length of time to dry. when did you last use it Chris, I've never seen such grey tyres Megs Tyre Gel is the best I've used so far

Ronseal timbercare Don't tell Jay, he'll be trying to get his tyres 'Forest Green'!! Surely the B&Q stuff can't be good for the rubber. rmmackfc
Dunno, but they use it on showroom cars and display models. At the end of the day they could have hundreds of tyres to paint...
BradGT4
Megs Endurance Gel is very good ... but by far and away the best is Blackfire Long Lasting Tyre Gel ... http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog ... heels.html Bradders
M13KYF
now currently testing the Blackfire gel. Smells like coco oil and comes with a sponge applicator. First application was good but with the storms, the shine got washed off on sunday in wales. Applied another coat and have to say I prefer this more than Megs. sl114
I used wonder wheels on my sisters car last weekend, not the alloy cleaner but their tyre dressing and i have to say i was very impressed. It came up with a nice clean shine (applicator was a round sponge) and when we took her car for a spin, it left no marks along the side of the car from spray off

Sounds like the shine wore off very easily if all it took was a day out driving and some rain?
M13KYF
it was a downpour to be fair in wales but from my experience it would have been more worn off with megs, admittedly I've only been using the spray megs stuff so far and haven't tried the gel
Rob_Quads
Ah - the gel stuff is 100 times better than the spray. I would expect Blackfire to be much better than the Megs Spray. Would be interesting to see how it compares to the gel.
Stew
Blackfire. 100 times better than the nearest competitor - not scientifically tested to be 100 times better but it is!
Mathys
Another vote for Megs Endurance Gel.... Haven't tried the blackfire yet, will give it a try in the future...
Stew
I used megs and thought it was brilliant UNTIL I tried blackfire. No I won't go back!
