Andy Nefyn
My 2008 350 (83k miles) has started a low pitch whirring noise. The pitch varies a little with speed. I'm sure its not from the engine as it is still audible when the clutch is in and free wheeling. Could it be the diff or bearings?? Any advice much appreciated. ZMANALEX
Impossible to give an informed diagnosis from afar Andy, best to take it to your local 350Z indy
davey_83
Could be anything almost, something as simple as a stone stuck in a caliper or brake disc heat shield corroded and fouling. Also not likely to be diff related as when you put the clutch in you've removed the load, causing the noise to change.
