Andy Nefyn
The boot on my 2008 350Z won't open. The button has gradually been getting less responsive over the last week. Now there is no click when I press it and it won't open at all. Any ideas?
Azurez33
Had a couple of boot latch mechanisms failing on the hrs, you might have to crawl into the boot somehow and pull the kidnap release, think it’s the plastic cog in the actuator that fails

Preowned, fully working boot actuators are in stock, so just drop me a PM if I can help further.

Fiddled about with the lock and put some vaseline in it and it seems to work fine now.
Payco
Not sure what happened to my post but there is a manual boot release under your rear strut bar so you can release from inside the car.
