granaryman
Hello, I am at a critical point with my 350z and am trying to work out whether to fix it or sell it. The garage has said that I need these two parts to begin with and I am trying to work out costs vs the potential value of the car. The parts I need are: Nissan 350Z Support Arm Brace Crossmember Tunnel Stay OEM 03-08 A823 2003, 2004 and Nissan 350Z 03-09 Sub-Frame Crossmember Stay, Rear Right/Passenger OEM A938 2003. Can anyone advise where I could purchase these parts as economically as possible, or does anyone have these parts for sale? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. SWoMP
Those numbers do not appear to be Nissan part numbers, format: <5-chars>-<-5chars>. I suggest you go on Amayama.com and look at the parts diagrams and check part numbers. If you havent been there before it can be a bit of a long haul first time but when you get to the diagrams, if you hover over the diagram part identifier it will highlight the part number on the right-hand side and say whether they are still available. I have bought a number of obscure parts for my 350Z this year so quite a lot are available. Prices are better than here but you will also get charged shipping. Delivery seems to be around 2/3 weeks at present. Good luck.
ZMANALEX
These parts are still available from Nissan UK. Contact your local Nissan dealer ship. The Tunnel Stay is circa £200.00 The R/H stay is circa £100.
granaryman
Thanks for this - do you know of anyone who breaks down 350zs and might sell parts as it is looking costly?

I am breaking 4 x 350Zs at the minute, however these parts are usually rusty and not really fit for purpose. In the grand scheme of things the new parts are not really expensive compared to other 350Z new OEM parts.
granaryman
Okay thanks - if during your breaking of those cars it turns out any of the parts are useful, give me a shout 😉

granaryman
Hello bud, sorry to bother you again but my nightmare is continuing. Can you give me an idea of how much you look to pay for a 350z that you are intending to break? The reason I am asking is because I am stuck with what to do with my 350z now as it is looking like it is going to cost me about 2k to repair. The 350z I own is a 2005 black convertible and aside from the issues with the car that need addressing, it runs well and the engine and car seem good to me. The condition isn't great as the paintwork is peeling off in places and there are a few dings in the bodywork where folk like to bump into me when park then obviously drive off without taking responsibility. Have you any idea what the car would be worth if I was to sell in now (with no MOT), or what someone like you would pay for it? Really appreciate your help as I am floundering here.
