nofitstate
So I've had the dreaded yellow key light on the dash come up. It happens with both keys of which I've tried new batteries in both. Despite my car being a 2014 facelift I can confirm I do have the steering lock. The car works fine and the lock seems to stuck in the open position which is good news, it's just that pesky dash light I need to deal with. So, can anyone tell me if pulling the fuse for the steering lock gets rid of the dash light too? If not I can see myself having to fork out for a new steering lock as driving around with a permanent dash warning would do my head in! Even though the lock was stuck in the unlock position, I guess it wasn't unlocking enough to turn the yellow key light off. A few taps on the mechanism and the light turned off and then I took the fuse out. Problem solved
