z350convert
My sight isn’t that good for night driving anymore so I thought I would give the headlamps an upgrade. i understand LED lights are still illegal In the UK, for the ludicrous reason the legislators don’t know how to evaluate them. Ive found some Boch Halogen bulbs in Halfords claiming 200% improvement and ok with the 370Z. Seems a good investment, any comment? ZMANALEX
Lots of info here: https://www.powerbulbs.com/eu/store/category/xenon-hid-bulbs-d2s-d2r-d1s-d1r/fitting/d2s-85122
Jack94
Doesn't the 370z use a bi-xenon bulb for low/main beam, not halogen? To answer your question anyway... I've tried various aftermarket halogen bulbs on various vehicles over the years and yes they can offer some improvement, but not as much as they claim. Most recently I swapped the original bulbs in my motorbike (2013 Triumph Daytona 675R) to these- https://www.osram.com/ecat/NIGHT BREAKER 200-Halogen headlight lamps-Car lighting-Automotive/com/en/GPS01_3495633 They're definitely a bit whiter, brighter and shine further, but nowhere near a 200% improvement.
