sambo
Hello all what do you experienced lot think of this ? any idea how much to fix the stereo issue ? https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202109026922640?atmobcid=soc3
Andy_Muxlow
Hi and welcome along buddy. Having taken a look at the car it looks quite nice. Roof replaced and exhaust so there shouldn’t be any issues there for a while. It looks a tidy car. As for the stereo it could be a number of things really. But easily replaced quite cheaply if needed.
sambo
Thanks for the feedback. Really want the convertible as this would be a second car only. is 100k mileage fine for these ? It doesn’t have full history but decent history for the last few years apparently He thinks it could be an amp issue for the stereo
Azurez33
Does look good and even better that it’s been serviced by someone who knows these cars! have a nose at the arches just to check! There’s always an amp issues with these sound units they’re a nightmare 😂
Andy_Muxlow
Yes 100k isn’t an issue for these engines really. Some have done over 200k so as long as they’re well maintained they’re bullet proof really.
Ekona
100k miles has been absolutely fine for any car produced in the last 20 years, excluding the very exotic. Brits seem to get paranoid at that number for no reason whatsoever.
GranTurismoEra
Lol meanwhile in California, the cars just getting warmed up at 100,000 miles.
coldel
Yeah there is very much an island mentality here around the number 100,000. When I lived in France where cross continent road trips are the norm loads of cars on high miles and all ran fine! It can work in your favour though as car prices plummet as soon as it ticks into 100k
Lynchyy
Nice motor. Engine side like all are saying. Bulletproof if looked after. You will probably have issues with the roof, unless the motors have been replaced (few other things linked with the roof that often go wrong too).
