lovelock
Evening, through a friend of a friend I've been offered a 350 with the following engine spec: HKS GTS7040 Supercharger Kit Uprev MAF GT sensor Denso 1 step colder spark plugs 600cc injectors Motordyne 5/17 Plenum Spacer Invidia Gemini Exhaust with Ti Tips Stainless steel Decats and Ypipe I've been looking into the charger setup and it seems that the GTS7040 is pretty old now compared to their newer one, the car is currently mapped at 380hp with standard fuel pump. Whats the thoughts on this charger now that it's probably 10 years old and no longer sold? The car wont be a daily, just to and from the office once a week. Ekona
Let someone who will actually use it buy it? The mapping and the condition of the overall car, including service history since the install, is far more important than worrying about an out of date s/c. Andy_Muxlow
First of all hi and welcome. As above check how the car has been looked after and service history after the fitting of the goodies. if its been well looked after then go for it. if it hasn't the avoid like the plague. davey_83
Way I would look at it is, would I buy a 10yr car that was supercharged? Sure would if it was looked after. Sounds like a perfect once weekly to the office and weekend motor.
