bryd
Colin asked me to detail his car in readiness for the big meet next weekend. Car on arrival, pretty damn clean TBH, just needed the wheels (AS Smart wheels), arches and a quick foam up and wash Dried, paint measured, usual anorexic Nissan paint nowhere over 95um, and inspected. Typical defects shown below Tried out my 3M range today, as i knew this car wouldn't be a toughie. So used the front driver side wing as my test area with Ultrafina on a Megs yellow pad Before After This pretty much sorted out the lighter swirls with a few RDS needing a hit with Extra Fine Compond. Found an old eye piece from my days as a printer and thought i would see if i could get some nice close ups with it After - excuse fingers Got the front end done, before a sudden down pour, some nice beading though from the freshly polished paint After drying off, carried on round the car until all the polishing was completed Some Brinkmann shots No LSP yet Paint was then cleaned with Lime Prime Lite, and followed up with a layer of BoS, tyres with AG No.5, arches with AS Finish & zorsts with Britemax - Et voila, the sun even made an appearance ! Cheers for looking Bryan

Ebized
Many thanks Bryan - a really great job - well pleased . Trying to find a weather slot is a nightmare at the moment, hence the decision to do the job yesterday in case the rain did not let off for long enough before the Wales run. As you can see from the pics after Bryans work the Ebisu really does give a mirror finish - hard to believe its a reflection from some angles. Now need to get some new detailing materials myself to keep it looking good. 'Fraid I am of the old school having used a leather to dry off the car - I now see the advantages of using deep pile micro-fibre towel. Ebized
I am amazed with this reflection pic - its only the sky colour difference in the driver's mirror that gives the game away, and the fact that I know the mirror effect has clicked in and this one bowls me over - its almost like haing a picture painted down the side:
Nimrod
Looks fantastic. No better colour for the Z when it's just been cleaned.
