HEADPHONES
I remember when the 350z was relatively new, alot of people commented on how poor the leather quality was calling it Pleather etc. However, after 16 years daily use and nearly 70k miles, I don't think it's doing bad at all. The actual seat doesn't show any signs of sagging. The bolsters still feel firm and solid. No signs of splitting around any of the gaitors. Apart from a little paint touch up along the bolster bead edge in 2018, all I've done is regularly wipe with Dr Leather Wipes.
mr v6
I've found the leather in the Z, even after 16 years in mine, to have worn much much better than my previous car which started to wear a lot more after about 12 years old.

HEADPHONES
I don't know what some people get up to in their seats. Be it cloth or leather Edited June 13, 2021 by HEADPHONES 1

davey_83
@ricochet was one of the very first owners I met and told me to keep on top of the leathers. Daily driven and after nearly 90k, I think they've held up incredibly well as I always make the effort to keep them clean. coldel
Keep it clean and it will last, as it does in lots of cars, my 2005 VX had leather in great nick when I bought it two years ago Its that little job of degreasing and keeping clean that makes all the difference to moderns leathers in cars.
