robs1979
Morning guys, Firstly I have to say that I am a very happy boy this today.....just picked up the 350z on Saturday and had a smile on my face all weekend from driving it. Something i couldn't figure out as i dont yet have the manual is the RPM counter. On the far right dial on the dash is an option to set the RPM which i played with and when it was set low the rev light kept coming on so i put it back to 7100 where is was before. What is this and should i set it higher/lower? Thanks Rob x
MrLizard
I leave mine set to about 7000, it only warns you, doesnt actually limit it, i only set it lower when the misses drives it as she thinks somethings wrong
Toon Chris
I leave mine set to about 7000, it only warns you, doesnt actually limit it, i only set it lower when the misses drives it as she thinks somethings wrong Good move I set mine to 5200. It flashes to say I`m giving it some boot and then when it goes constant I get a few more seconds to judge the moment then, *bam*, change the gear. Great fun! Chris`I
Set mine to 6k. Gives a nice amount of time when the light comes on solid to get your gear change in before loosing all torque or hitting the limiter
M13KYF
been covered a few times in the past. Purely an indication to the driver of when to change gear. Mine is set to 6100
GC350z
Don't notice mine. Change gear based on sound and when I know I have to.
