350_Jer
They're doing it in Bristol soon as well...
stanski
Trying it on in Manchester too. Ironically my 2015 VW T5 fails emissions whilst the 5 litre V8 passes. I think the pandemic has put an end to the town centre. Edited October 12, 2020 by stanski

ShortPaul
As long as this only applies to the centre of Bristol, it won't effect me to much

I guess the government assume newer cars have better emissions control despite bigger engines emitting high amount of pollutants

coldel
Yep London one is coming shortly too, everyone is selling up the cars that don't pass on the cheap. The whole thing is a blunt edged typical crap political effort anyway, I think we have all seen how incompetent politicians are in terms of solving bigger issues.

So when politicians turn up outside Number 10 in those big Jags or Range Rovers I assume they are some prototype electric ones for special people like politicians ? Incidentally Classic cars are exempt from all this inner city foolishness,(for now) if only you knew someone with a classic car that's going for sale soon? Oops who put this picture here? If these were good enough for Maggie they will be good enough for Boris! Edited October 13, 2020 by stanski
