OilyFingers
Hey guys. I’m not sure if this is the right spot for this but it seems sorta logical. I have an 09 zed with the 313bhp engine and a gearbox nobody outside Nissan seems to know anything about. Apparently for the last year of production it got a completely new Trans with an internal clutch cylinder ( guess what burst on the way to Santa Pod). I immediately bought what I thought was the correct part only to be left on my back and swearing upon realising I’d fallen victim to a Japanese practical joke. if the whole box has to come off I might as well do the clutch and flywheel at the same time but I don’t want a car on a lift and an angry mechanic telling me I bought the wrong bits. Many parts are advertised as 06-on but I know know that’s not the case. Does anyone know how to positively ID the correct part before handing over a wad? Cheers guys
ZMANALEX
All HR engines have a concentric slave and the DE has an external slave. DE on right: Any thing that you require to know about these gearboxes, just ask.
