David cooper
Hi guys please help me haha i got home and locked my car, and after 10 minutes my alarm went off. It’s never done this before. I locked it again and it did this a further 3 times before I unplugged the alarm under the boot floor. The red light at the top of the dash was rapidly flickering instead of the steady flashing it does. might sound daft but a moth was in my car earlier and went down behind the dash, could that have anything to do with it? many thanks
The Bounty Bar Kid
Was it windy? If so, were the air vents open?

HEADPHONES
I've had flies set off my alarm a few times so not daft at all. Also sometimes if my battery has gone low it has triggered an alarm on a previous car so that's maybe another culprit.
Azurez33
What headphones said, quite a lot of cars will have the alarm intermittently go off when it senses either a drop in voltage or when voltage is low, have the battery checked or could be a moth/fly or diagnostic might tell you if you have access

Is that why the alarm would go off more or less instantly if you left the windows open?
