Hi All,

Looking at buying some new wheels/tyres for my 03 reg 350Z. They are:-

2 x Cruize 126 8.5 x 18

2 x Cruize 126 9.5 x 18

Tyres are 2 x 235/35/19 (Avon) and 2 x 265/30/19 (Avon).

2 questions, will I need spacers to fit over the Brembo brakes?

Any view/comments on this set up much appreciated.

Please not too techie with any replies :)

Many thanks

Hi, mate!

The offsets dictate how far inside the wheelarch the wheel sits. High offset and the wheel is tucked in looking like a canoe on wheels (or an old E-type if you're being kind), low offset and the wheel and tyre could be sticking out of the arch, chav-Corsa style.

Its also dependent on width but perceived wisdom is that something in the region of a +18 to +25 offset will give you a nice aggressive look on the Zed without sticking out of the arches.

Your high offsets will not only look naff aesthetically but I suspect they will put the wheel too close to the brakes and may not fit.

Whilst we all want to be different (apart from the NISMO wheel boys ;) ) sometimes its best to select a wheel that has been fitted to a Zed before so someone else can make the mistakes for you.

Take a look at this website for some ideas or cruise our own wheel section.

Digsy and others. Thank you all for the great information. I have contacted the guy I was buying from and we will sort it by phone when I get home Friday. Hopefully I won't completely **** it up now and will make sure I upload some photo's post fitting

Once again thanks for the welcome and advice.
