Well bk to the bodyshop! But should i paint the roof black?!

Decided to have the roof sprayed, rear drivers arch and rear bumper as some of you will have seen at donny's there a few scraches that i cant polish out and getting me every time i clean the car, wish is quite often

 

But just trying to decide wether to have the roof sprayed black or stay GM so thought id see what the consesus is?!

Went for Black, was going to do it myself. If you search on my350z.com someone has found the perfect black to fit in with the black colour on the boot.

I am thinking of doing myself as I keep seeing a porka with the same look.

 

I have thought of doing the whole roof, boot, pillars and hood, inc part of the body next to the hood but still not sure!

Good luck if you do it and if you dont like it you can always change it back!!

well men!!!!!

 

just in from a 20mile bike run and reading through the comments so itys looking like its going to be black!!!!! just waiting to i get my plenum before i send it to the garage to have the bodywork done so hopefully be done before wales, im relying on phil!!! as with the hoses!

 

but what black should i go for?! any in particular

just an idea, how about trying a black vinyl, or carbon effect vinyl before committing, and then we can have another poll!

spoke to phil about that and says they look @*!# plus its goin in the bodyshop anyway for other bits so ill bite the bullit it'll only be £120 or so to swap back if i dont like it, it'll be somethin to talk about at wales anyway

Have a look on my350z for black roof and it will give you the exact code of the paint you need to match the colour of the black in the hatch... its a high gloss finish like the glass....
