My dad called me last night to invite me to the 25 year celebration of Aberdeen Football Club beating Real Madrid to win the European Cup Winners Cup. He has bought a table for the do and wanted his boy there! It would be a good event with current and former players etc, etc! The date - evening of 10th May. I turned down the invite as I'm committed to Wales and this club! So, if I can turn down this event to drive 7 hours approx to get to the wales run AND 7 hours back then surely those that are unsure can bite the bullet and show up to get our 50 Zeds.
