Nice, hardly a level playing field though, why didnt they compare a 996 Boxster and a Z4 non M car? Or maybe the point was to compare the two germans and throw in a cheaper option?

I thought the same or at least a HR and a Z4 3.0l. 350z DE rivals initially were the 3.2 TT, 231 RX8, Z3 and 986 Boxster S......... Very good read though of the 3 cars.

I guess it was the hard top comparison - but then I would have gone for comparing the roadster 350z, Boxster and Z4 3L

I enjoyed reading that article. I've had a Z4M Roadster and I currently have my 370Z GT Roadster and for me I much prefer the chassis/ride/manual gearbox in the 370Z for sure. 

 

I've enjoyed reading Modern Classics magazine since it first came out.

I thought the Z4 M would be more nimble and lighter around the bends with a bit more puff being slightly lighter.
