zettosan
Does anybody know which Clutch/Flywheel kit for the MY2007 350Z (313PS) are available? Do the clutch/flywheel kits ment for the "old" 280/300ps (2003-2006) work "plug-play" with the new MY2007 313 model or is it a specific one needed? Let me know. zettosan
We brought the 03-06 aftermarket clutch/flywheel kit to a Nissan dealer and compared with my friend's MY07 Nisan OEM flywheel/clutch block and it seems like there is a substantial difference which is: - 03-06 clutch is "mechanical type" - 07 313ps clutch is "hydraulic type" So the chief mechanic says that we cannot install it on his car (MY07 313ps). zettosan
update: some other forum members from the US say that the only difference between the two kits is the "throwout bearing" and that the clutches are the same....
Adam@Z1auto.com
all Z clutches are hydraulic

Adam@Z1auto.com
The 07 + clutch is similar, but the slave is now inside the tranny casing, so extra parts are needed to fit one. Flywheel is completely different...previous gen units will not work at all
