ANDYB350Z
Hi guys I imported a 2003 350Z from japan and have recently had to take to car to nissan in preston as i thought my clutch was burning out, as it turns out it needs a new cluth and fly wheels at the total cost will be £1500. I know a mechanic who can do it much cheaper and I have seen the clutch and flywheel kits on ebay for around 250. However nissan say these probably not fit the car as there for euro spec cars and not Jap models. Can anybody help or tell me where I can get the appropriate parts for a impoer or are nissan telling me c**p and are they the same ? any help would be most appreciated Andy
martinmac
Hi bud, welcome to the forum. As a rule dont buy anything from Nissan they are too expensive. lomoto
Avoid Nissan main dealers, they are the worst place to have a350z repaired

matth76
Surely as long as it is a manual the euro manual clutch and flywhee and jdm manual clutch and flywheel are all the same?! I too would avoid a main dealer. You'l get far more experience and half the price at a 350 specialist. Not sure why you would need a flywheel replaced unless there was something wrong with the car (more than just the clutch). Bet it was nissan who told you you needed a clutch and flywheel. N15MNO-Daron
If it needs replacing .. why not upgrade them to an aftermarket product? Light weight flywheel and performance clutch will make u smile more often
