tmJak
Anyone else read this gem here? What a way to brighten our day Gordon Brown style. . .might as well just pay my wages directly into the government coffers as even though I can afford a nice car there's no point in having one

Andy
The cost of implementing something like that would be horrendous!! I wonder who will pay for that!

Stew
Ah well, come on Mr Cameron. All you have to do is say this is pish and you won't do it and you're in no 10. Labour are out. There is no way the country can vote for these numpties. If they put them outside every school in the UK then fine.

tmJak
Never voted as I can't stand politics but Labour have convinced me that it's the only way to get rid of them. . .besides burning politicians in the street which would be option 2, but don't tell anyone I said that
Ekona
This scheme will never happen, as has been said the cost is simply too high. Besides, they'll put them all in on the motorways anyway which are deathly boring at the best of times, so I'll happily stick to tearing up the countryside and the twisties if that's okay with you. Chesterfield
And these ofrward facing cameras detect motorbikes how exactly? That is the single argument needed to quash ANY theories put forward that the cameras are about safety and not revenue. A road safety device that does not affect the single group most at risk of death or serious injury, cannot be classed as a road safety device. End of chat. Bikers represent about 2-3% of road users but account for about 50% of fatalities on the roads. If these things are rolled out across the land then Ill tootle about in the Z and probably end up killing myself having fun on a hyabusa! stanski
The number of cameras on the motorways is already increasing - they are everywhere! Funny how people can get attacked in a town centre have their valuables robbed or worse - with all that CCTV everywhere and yet so many scroats get off or are never even found - why do they think a camera will be better than a copper on the street or a patrol on the roads? So in the Bala run then - if we see a line of horse boxes by the side of the road we will know that either the price of diesel has shot up so much the owners have left their horses or there are lots of SAFETY cameras for yours and mine protection on the roads
martinmac
Brown had bankrupted the country by bad management, he sold off the gold reserves when the market was rock bottom. We have a limited anount of oil left. Motorists are an easy target so he will continue to pick on us with the excuse of being green.
