TobeZ350
Hi Iv fitted 50s to the rear on my 350z and the nearside hangs out of the arch more than the offside, never seen this before. I have had it all checked out and there's nothing bent or buckled and it sits square and runs fine but its not right. The offset of the wheels are the same and I just can't get my head round the problem, has anyone had this before? I have since taken them off and put 30mm on and its not as noticeable but still not right. Any info would be gratefully appreciated thanks all. Pictures of the problem
Andy_Muxlow
Have you run around a bit in it after fitting? The suspension has been up in the air and may need to re settle?
TobeZ350
Yeah it settled a bit but the pictures are a from a few days after, it's very strange. There's no sign of damage in any way but that's not to say something could have moved from previous ownership, to look at nothing is bent and the rim is fine and like I said it's been lasered and tracked up and it sits sound. Coil overs are on and it's ok but I no the problem is there so I'd like to sort it just I think I might cost a bit to find.
Jack94
Have you measured the spacers to double check they are actually the same size?
TobeZ350
I haven't but iv put the 35mm on the back and it still sits proud on one side, It looks like someone's drifted into a kerb and it's pushed the wheel in over at the bottom hence being proud at the top but there's no sign of damage at all. Andy_Muxlow
Odd then.. Sorry can't help any further.
TobeZ350
Aye, I wasn't expecting a fix tbh but I reckon it will cost to find so I might just try n forget about it for the moment as its not affecting anything
ATTAK Z
Just a silly thought ... are you sure you haven't got a front wheel on the back ?

Tauvp
Are you on stock suspension arms or are they adjustable?

That was the route I was heading if I can't find anything bent after a more thorough inspection. They should adjust the cambre yeah and pull the top back into place? Definitely got to consider this - sounds plausible If you've had it checked and its sat flush/no vibrations etc. then go get it aligned at a specialist? ATTAK Z
Don't know if you're aware - there's a lug on the front hubs to prevent the rear wheels being fitted on the front, but of course that doesn't prevent vice versa. Maybe a rear wheel was damaged and someone put a front wheel they had kicking around on the rear to save money before you got the car ??? TobeZ350
the car has had all suspension dropped and checked.. Been advised to get a full N/S suspension arm hub and bushes ( everything) rather than fault finding what's bent. Is there breakers on here that may have such parts for me to source.. Nightmare
