Stevieh6
Hi, I’m currently running a Japanese true dual exhaust with stock CATs. It sounds great low-midrange but up high it’s a bit quiet. I’m considering switching to the ISR Y-pipe and single exit. What do you guys think? And which design makes the most power? thanks Steve Edited October 23, 2019 by Stevieh6
Jack94
If you're happy with the noise and just want a bit more volume have you considered swapping out the oem cats for HFCs? If you've already got an aftermarket system then changing it to another one will give negligible gains if any, whereas HFCs should make a noticeable difference. Davectr
What Jack said, drop some hfc’s in
Stevieh6
I don’t really want to swap out the cats.. maybe someone in Norfolk fancies a swap? This is what I’m currently running
msitpro
A large single from the Y-back will be louder. Primarily because there will be less pipework and mufflers/resonators. I am suffering with hearing loss with my stainless headers, 3" single, 2x 4" wide resonators and 200 cell HFCs (putting in a 4"x9"x18" oval rear turbo style muffler soon)
