Has anyone been to Rome recently who can recommend a hotel ?

Realistically could do with more info of what you need/want out of your hotel. 

Nevertheless I was in Rome on business and stayed here - Hotel Forum Rome

It's quite a simple hotel but location is perfect for walking to main sites. Also had secure parking (daily charge) 

Great roof top terrace for a drink while overlooking Rome. 

Rome is very much like Paris, you don't get much for your money unless you want to spend £250+ per night. Happy to give more advice if needed.

Thanks for that,looks good location and reviews look pretty good,but always good to have contact with someone has stayed in the hotel,going for three or four nights by air ,looking for 4 or 5 star hotel that's close to metro and or some attractions,close to good resturants would also be a plus.
