CarolynBennett
Hi my headlight washers are working on my 350Z but my windscreen washer jets are not. Guess a pipe might be blocked or has come off/is loose but I have no idea where to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you. Kieran O'Quick
There are a couple of one way valves in the pipes up under the trim at the top of the engine bay. Follow the pipe from the water tank and keep digging. You might need to replace the valves (couple of quid), maybe a pipe has popped off or it just needs a clean.. Good luck. blazemaguire
Also, the pumps can pack up. Behind the front wheel arch liner on drivers side front wheel. Eaiser to get at with bumper off. Can you hear the pump wiring when someone pulls the stalk? The pumps I belive are generic Nissan as per the micra and others so are about 12 quid on ebay. CarolynBennett
Thanks very much. In the end I took the car to a mechanic friend and it turned out the pump had gone but as there is no back wiper he rewired that pump so it operates the front washers and got a good result!
